Our Love Story

How We Met

In 2022, Allan and Kristin both were living in their cabins in Dorrington/Camp Connell, and working in San Francisco splitting their time between the mountains and the city. They met online and quickly bonded over their love for the outdoors and adventure.

The Proposal

Three years later, Allan surprised Kristin with a proposal during a hike in Death Valley near their favorite hot spring. At the summit of the hike, with a stunning view of the valley below, Allan got down on one knee and asked Kristin to be his wife.

Our Journey

From spontaneous road trips to quiet Sunday mornings, Allan and Kristin have built a love founded on friendship, laughter, and unwavering support for each other's dreams. Now they're ready to say "I do" surrounded by their favorite people.

Wedding Details

Optional pre-party

Everyone is welcome to join us for an optional pre-party on the evening before the wedding. This will be a casual gathering with a small bbq, campfire, sing-alongs and drinks. Bring your instruments.

Dress Code

Comfortable shoes for outdoor dancing. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on grass, so please plan accordingly.

The weather can get cool at night in the mountains. Bring something warm just in case.

Transportation

There is parking available onsite at the Avery hotel. We will provide an optional shuttle service from the venue to Arnold for those who prefer not to drive.

Shuttle will pick up door to door in Dorrington and Camp Connell. There will be one shuttle stop in Arnold at the Big Trees Market. The shuttle will not stop in Murphys.
